Arkansas stayed at No. 8 in Softball America's new Top 25 poll for Week 13, released Monday, April 29.

It's the third straight week the Razorbacks (34-13 overall, 13-8 SEC) have been ranked No. 8 in the poll.

Arkansas won two of three games at LSU over the weekend. The Tigers had been ranked No. 6 in the USA TODAY/NFCA Division I coaches poll.

In all, the top nine teams in Softball America's poll remained the same as last week. Texas (42-6) stayed at No. 1 for the third consecutive week after a 4-0 week. Reigning national champion Oklahoma (45-4) held at No. 2 after going 3-0.

Tennessee (No. 3, 37-9), Texas A&M (No. 4, 39-9), and Oklahoma State (No. 5, 42-8) rounded out the top five. The Volunteers and Aggies remain the only two SEC teams ranked higher than Arkansas.

The SEC also led the poll with 10 schools ranked, including Missouri (37-13), which moved up four spots to No. 10, and Florida (39-12, up three spots to No. 11).

No. 13 Georgia (37-13), No. 16 LSU (36-13), No. 19 Alabama (32-14), and No. 23 Mississippi State (30-17) also finished in the Top 25.

The Razorbacks enter the week fourth in conference standings behind Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Florida. They're one game behind the Gators for third place in the SEC.

Arkansas has one last tune-up in midweek play when it travels to Conway to face Central Arkansas Tuesday. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. CDT. The Razorbacks will then close the regular season by welcoming Ole Miss to Bogle Park for a three-game series beginning Friday.
